I highly suggest that any chocolate lover makes this cake!  I found this recipe on smitten kitchen a while back and made it right away.  The result? Amazing.  I decided to make it again tonight to see if it was just as fabulous and I was not disappointed.  The red wine flavor is so subtle but lends a dark, sophisticated flavor to the cake.  When you add the marscarpone topping the result is simply divine.
